If you experience some allergies prior to taking fish oil supplements, consult your doctor to make sure that you are allergic to the seafood properties found in fish oil. Do remember that high quality supplements do not contain the seafood properties so it is advisable that you but this kind of supplements to ensure that you will not have allergic reactions.

Omega 3 fatty acids actually have a lot of benefits. Other than the fact that it is known to be good for the heart, there are studies now which state that Omega 3 is also good for the brain. Flaxseed Oil Vs Fish Oil Information
It has been a proven fact that our body cannot produce Omega 3 fatty acids on its own and this is the reason why we have to consume foods that contain fatty acids. One source is fish oil which is already well known for having a lot of benefits for the heart and can also be used to treat different diseases.
Another source of omega-3 fatty acids is flax seed. Basically, it is not as well known as fish oil vitamins in terms of an example of a source of fatty acids but it is as effective. In fact, according to scientists, flax seed can also help our digestion to become smoother.
Ever since it has been proven that flax seed is also a source, there have been some debates among professionals and consumers about which source is a better source of Omega-3 fatty acids? Is it Fish oil or flax seed?
